The Tamar River has been the official border between Devon and Cornwall since Saxon times.
The Tamar Valley is rich in beauty and history, possessing some of the finest scenery in the West Country and is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Everyday we are reminded about how beautiful yet fragile surrounding rivers and coastlines are. So we never take the local ecology for granted.
Join me on an eco tour that combines a scenic SUP trip with collecting rubbish.
Stand up Paddleboarding is very much an eco sport and it's up to us to protect the environment we are blessed with. These events are social and community based and are suitable for anyone who can SUP independently.
We can supply a board for £5 per person or you can use your own. Bring your own litter collection box. Anyone with a kayak are also welcome to get involved.
We will run Paddle and Pick sessions once a month. It's a great opportunity to learn how to dispose of litter responsibly and ending with refreshments. If you would like to join the Cargreen Paddle and Pick committee then please contact Mel for more information.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Parents are responsible for their Children at all times.
